Jolie & Greg | Fall Stevenson Ridge Wedding

Fall Stevenson Ridge Wedding

As a military wife I have a special place in my heart for military couples!  Greg is in the Air Force and due to his training schedule planning a wedding was a little nerve wracking for Jolie.  In fact she did all the planning from Mississippi (yes I just sang the song to spell that correctly)!  I’d say she did an awesome job because she booked two of my favorite vendors, Stevenson Ridge and Fat Girl Cakes!  When I received my getting to know you questionnaire from Jolie and Greg I knew this would be a fun wedding because Jolie is a Princess Bride fan too!  In fact she walked down the aisle to Story Book Love and I will say it brought a tear to my eye to see her with her Dad and hear that song being played on a hammered dulcimer.  It was an incredibly beautiful moment!

Jolie and Greg asked their friend Ernesto to perform their ceremony and he did an outstanding job.  It was little touches like that throughout the wedding day that really made it special.  Jolie handmade all the decorations for the wedding and even the hangers for the bridesmaids dresses!

I love that when asked what is most important about your wedding day Greg said “That Jolie is able to have the wedding she always wanted and that the two of us and all of our guests have a great time.”  I think that was achieved!  David and I were so blessed to be a part of their day and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!

I really, really wish I could have come to the wedding – vineyards in Wash state needed my help though. Photos are fabulous, and it gives me a feel for what I missed. Congrats to my favorite first family, the LaBrots, and to the new chapter of the Johnston family!
