Fredericksburg Va Maternity Photographer
This beautiful couple welcomed their baby boy into the world this past weekend so I thought it was time I shared their gorgeous Fredericksburg Virginia maternity session! Taylor contacted me back in the fall to schedule some maternity photos. I loved this girl immediately, she had some ideas for her session that I knew would be great and she was so excited to have photos taken!
The day we met up for their session at the location I wanted to use we ran into an unexpected surprise in the form of many, many, many police officers doing training at that spot. I texted her to let her know because pulling into a parking lot full of police cars makes anyone a little wary, lol ;). I have to say thank you to those police officers because instead of shooting at my normal spots I had to get creative, walk around a bit more and scout. And oh my goodness did I find plenty of other gorgeous spots within walking distance that had the most perfect light!!! It pays to get pushed out of your comfort zone and explore.
Style
From the moment Taylor contacted me we started talking about the style they wanted for the shoot and I sent over some ideas on what to wear. She sent me some links to dresses she was thinking about getting and then sent me a selfie of a sundress she already had that was perfect!! Next up we coordinated Conor’s outfit and they were all set. Always remember that clothing makes an impact on your photos, good outfits that coordinate but don’t all match work so much better. I’m happy to work with clients on wardrobe choices so that everyone looks and feels great for their photos!
My session with these two was one of those where I felt like I didn’t have to do any work, they listened and followed directions and it was all perfect! I’m pretty sure you can’t take a bad photo of these two so I didn’t have to worry there :). I can’t wait to meet their new bundle of joy for his newborn session!
