There is something about pregnancy that just brings you closer to your spouse! It’s such an exciting time and I think it’s the perfect time to work on dating each other again. Because once that baby arrives date nights can be hard to come by for awhile. So I’ve put together 10 date night ideas in Miami that are perfect for pregnant couples! 1. Walk on the Beach

Living in Miami you probably spend a lot of time at the beach but there is something so relaxing and romantic about sharing a walk and watching the sunset with the person you love most in the world. From Ft. Lauderdale to Key Biscayne you are bound to find breathtaking views. To see it all head to the tip of Miami Beach where you can catch views of Downtown Miami, the Atlantic Ocean and the cruise ships at the Port Miami for a romantic Miami date night.

2. Take a Cruise

Early in your pregnancy is the perfect time to take a babymoon! I can’t think of a better trip than taking a cruise to a new and exotic place. No cooking or cleaning just relaxing and being together! Living in Miami makes this super easy since you can cruise right out of Port Miami or even leave from Ft. Lauderdale. Be sure to check with your cruise line and the CDC for any current travel warnings in the locations you are going.

3. Visit Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

Whether you’re a garden lover, or a history buff, you’ll find something to love about Vizcaya. Spend an afternoon or now an evening strolling the gardens and enjoy a bite at the Cafe. The evening features access to the gardens and Main House after hours as well as fun activities and experiences that change every month. You can also have your maternity session at Vizcaya, the gardens make a stunning backdrop!

4. Catch an outdoor movie at the SoundScape Amphitheater

Bring a blanket, pack a picnic basket and arrive early to get a front row lawn seat as you enjoy a movie on the beautifully manicured grounds of SoundScape Park. No tickets required, the movies are free to the public and shows start at 8pm November through May. I suggest picking a night featuring a romantic comedy!

5. Glass Bottom Boat Tour

Climb aboard a 65ft Catamaran and catch a unique under the sea view of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. This 2.5 hour boat tour includes a number of shallow reefs teeming with wildlife. Reservations are required for the Spirit of Pennekamp glass bottom boat tour.

6. Mini Golf

In my family we call this putt putt golf but that might be a Northern thing! Either way you say it this is a fun Miami date night activity you can pair with one of my romantic ideas before hand and one of my late night ideas after for a well rounded date night. I recommend doing this before you hit the stage of your pregnancy when you can’t see your feet! 7. Escape Room

I’ve done this personally as a Miami date night and it’s super fun! You can book a room as a group or if it’s just the 2 of you they’ll pair you with other couples. They have different themes but the overall goal is to solve little puzzles that lead to clues to the big puzzle that unlocks the room. 8. Evening Brunch at East Miami Tea Room

Who doesn’t love brunch? Seriously is there anyone out there that is not a brunch fan? The East Miami Tea Room offers a 2 hour 5 course brunch in the evenings. Hidden behind a black door this enchanting cocktail lounge and speakeasy offers a romantic Miami date night even if you aren’t pregnant. In fact I’d recommend hitting this up after baby is born to take advantage of free flowing beer, wine and champagne!

9. Comedy Show

A great way to relax and unwind is to let laughter flow and there is no better place for that than a comedy club! When you think of Miami, clubs and dancing come to mind but there are several great options to get off your feet and laugh out loud. Timeout has a great article on the 6 best comedy clubs in Miami.

10. Ice Cream

We’ve all heard the stories that pregnant women crave pickles and ice cream and Salt & Straw in Wynwood has the perfect flavor for that particular craving. Their bacon biscuit crumble with pickle caramel will quench that salty and sweet desire! Not feeling the pickles and ice cream, that’s ok they have plenty of other flavors to choose from. Even if you don’t make it to Salt & Straw you can hit up your local ice cream joint to finish off the perfect date night in Miami!

11. Photo Session

You knew I wasn’t going to let you get out of here without suggesting a maternity session on the beach! That is one of the perfect things to do in Miami when you are pregnant. I recommend aiming for when you are 32-36 weeks along. But as long as you have popped that bump you can do them anytime! Pick out a beautiful dress, get your hair and makeup done and let’s take some gorgeous photos! Then head out on the town for dinner while your all dolled up.
